EVO Nights – Olive Oil Tasting Experiences in Amsterdam

1. Scope of the Experience

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and participation in olive oil tasting experiences organized under the EVO Nights brand in Amsterdam (the “Experience”). By purchasing a ticket through the EVO Nights website or through third-party booking platforms, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The Experience consists of a guided extra virgin olive oil tasting and educational session including food pairings and beverages. The standard participation price is €89 per person unless otherwise specified.

2. Bookings and Participation

Bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation and are considered confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed. Reservations may be made for groups ranging from 1 to 17 participants.

Participants must arrive on time at the location indicated in the booking confirmation. The Experience begins at the scheduled time and late arrivals may not be admitted once the session has started. In such cases, the ticket will be considered used and no refund or rescheduling will be granted.

3. Minimum Attendance and Organizer Cancellation

EVO Nights experiences operate subject to a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event if fewer than eight participants are registered across all EVO Nights sales channels, including the website and third-party platforms.

If the organizer cancels an event for this reason or for other operational reasons, participants will be offered either a rescheduled date or a full refund of the ticket price. The organizer shall not be responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, or other related expenses.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All bookings are non-refundable after purchase.

Exceptions may be considered only in limited circumstances where the participant is unable to attend due to documented illness or verified travel disruption that prevents arrival in Amsterdam. In such cases, appropriate proof must be submitted to the organizer for review.

If the organizer approves a refund request, the refund will be processed within 30 working days of confirmation. Refunds are issued using the original payment method where possible. The decision to grant a refund outside the stated policy remains at the sole discretion of the organizer.

5. Age Requirements

Participants aged 16 years and older may attend the Experience individually.

Participants under the age of 16 may attend only if accompanied by a responsible adult, parent, or legal guardian who assumes full responsibility for the minor’s supervision and participation throughout the Experience. The organizer accepts no responsibility for the conduct, supervision, or well-being of minors attending the event.

Alcoholic beverages may be served as part of the Experience. The organizer reserves the right to limit or refuse alcohol service in accordance with applicable regulations or responsible service practices.

6. Food Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, and Health Conditions

The Experience involves the tasting of olive oils and food pairings that may contain or come into contact with common allergens.

Participants are responsible for being aware of their own food allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions, including those related to pregnancy. Participants are expected to exercise personal judgment regarding what they consume during the Experience.

While reasonable care is taken during preparation and service, the organizer cannot guarantee the absence of allergens and shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, dietary issues, or health consequences arising from participation.

7. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward the host, venue staff, and other guests. The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from the Experience without refund if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the event.

8. Liability Limitation

Participation in the Experience is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EVO Nights and its organizers shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience arising from participation in the Experience, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

The organizer shall not be responsible for any loss of personal property, personal injury not resulting from proven negligence, or any costs incurred by participants related to travel arrangements or other external services.

9. Force Majeure

The organizer shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or modification of the Experience due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, public health restrictions, transportation disruptions, venue issues, or other unforeseen events.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands, and any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
