Where does the name EVO Nights come from?

EVO Nights stands for Extra Virgin Olive Oil, where the letter "O" is mentioned once for both the last two words. "Nights" is part of the name as we host the tastings in the evening time.

What is included in the 89 euros for the tasting?

At the tastings, food and drinks are both included. We will serve a four (4) course tapas menu, including desert; it is enough food to be your dinner. Drinks such as sodas, tea, water, coffee are included. A welcome wine and three more glasses (red or wine) are also included throughout the evening.

How do I recognize the location of the tasting?

The tastings take place in Amsterdam West, at Terre Lente, and Amsterdam East at Nico's Fresh Pasta. Both are very central locations in the city and they are gorgeous delicatessen. The entrance is easily recognizable from the street but we recommend following Google Maps instructions to get there.

Are children and pets allowed to the venue during a tasting?

Pets are not allowed at the venue during the tasting experience. The tasting is open to parents who want to bring their children, we leave at the discretion of the parents whether the kids are old enough to behave in a group setting with other adults. Kids below 6 years old do not pay.

What olive oil will be served at the tasting?

The olive oils served at the tastings are coming from the Mediterranean country notoriously producing extra virgin olive oil: Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and Croatia are the main ones. The quality is high, the average value per 500ml is 20-25 Eur. We serve only products we know the origin, the quality and the olive variety.

Do I need to know anything about olive oil before the tasting?

You don't. Participants of all backgrounds, ethnicity, gender and knowledge are welcome. We aim to inspire guests that have never explored or familiarized with this product before.

Is the experience suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, it is. Please, add a comment in the Dietary Restrictions field at the booking time so that our team will know about it. If you exchange emails or messages with us, feel free to point out again your preferred diet and/or allergies.

When do I pay for the tasting?

If you book through our website, you will receive two weeks before the tasting an email with the payment instructions. If you book via our 3rd party partners (AirBnB, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide...) the payment is instant on their site.

What happens if I cannot attend a tasting anymore?

In this case, Terms and Conditions apply: all bookings are non-refundable after purchase, the final confirmation of attendance happens at the payment time (before the date of the booking). Refunds will be considered in light of a documented travel disruption, illness or major cause.

Can I participate alone or I must be in a group?

You can always participate alone and book for yourself. You can also book for more people at the same time. The tasting accommodates up to 15 people, if there is no more space we will let you know and we will add you to the waiting list for the next tasting.
